Iran Garcia is a multidisciplinary composer, music producer, sound designer, and educator whose career spans film and television scoring, commercial music, audio post-production, and artist
development. His professional portfolio includes work on productions associated with major networks and streaming platforms, including Netflix, Apple TV, CBS, ESPN, NBC, and A&E. His contributions to cinema include award-winning and internationally recognized projects, reflecting a career that bridges mainstream entertainment and independent artistic expression.

Iran's approach to education is shaped by a diverse academic and professional background, with degrees spanning music business and production, music education, and scoring for film, television, and video games. Combined with his experience in commercial music direction, artist development, sound design, and post-production, this foundation allows him to connect creative, technical, and
entrepreneurial disciplines in ways that reflect the realities of the modern music industry.

During his tenure as a high school music educator in South Florida, Iran directed commercial music, string and guitar ensembles, taught audio engineering, and developed original curricula in songwriting, music production, audio engineering, music business, and MIDI sequencing. He also designed and built a dedicated MIDI production studio, expanding students' access to contemporary music technology. Under his direction, student ensembles performed extensively throughout South Florida, with students themselves managing live sound, stage setup, lighting, and technical production. These experiences extended classroom learning into professional environments, providing students with practical experience in both musical performance and live event production.

Today, as an educator at California State University, Northridge, and College of the Canyons, Iran continues to bridge academic instruction with professional practice. His teaching encompasses music technology, audio production, music business, and the creative and technical processes behind contemporary music production. Drawing from his ongoing work in the entertainment industry, he introduces students to professional workflows, collaborative environments, and the practical considerations involved in building sustainable careers in music.

As the founder of Modern Music Pro, Iran has extended his educational philosophy beyond the traditional classroom. Guided by the belief that “Forward music requires forward thinking,” the academy seeks to shorten the gap between a student mindset and the ability to secure consistent, recurring professional opportunities. Through accessible, industry-focused education, Modern Music Pro aims to equip musicians, producers, songwriters, and educators with the knowledge, confidence, and practical
skills needed to navigate today's constantly evolving music industry.
